Getting There

Tianjin is one of the easiest cities to reach in China. The high-speed train from Beijing South takes just 30–35 minutes and runs every few minutes throughout the day — it's faster and easier than driving. From Beijing, this is the practical option. Tianjin station and Tianjin West station both have metro connections into the centre.

For longer distances, Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN) has direct flights to major Chinese cities and some international routes including Seoul and Tokyo. The airport is in the Binhai New Area and linked to the city by metro Line 2.

By long-distance bus, Tianjin is connected to most cities in Hebei, Shandong and the surrounding region. The main stations for buses are Tianjin West (Xiqiao) and Tianjin South.
