Vemulawada is a strict pilgrimage town and alcohol is simply not available here. The closest thing to a cafe culture is the collection of small chai stalls near the temple entrance and around the bus stand — sweet, milky tea served in glasses, along with biscuits and occasionally filter coffee. If you are looking for anything beyond a cup of tea, plan to wait until you reach Karimnagar or Hyderabad.
