Things to Do

Warangal's draw is almost entirely its Kakatiya-era heritage — temples, fort gateways, and sculptural traditions that reached their peak between the 12th and 14th centuries. Most of the major monuments are within the city or a short drive away. The UNESCO-listed Ramappa Temple is about 70 km northeast, best reached by hired car or autorickshaw for the day.
