One of the most elegant secular structures in the royal enclosure: a large square bathing pavilion built in an unusual blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural elements. The exterior is plain and fortress-like; the interior reveals a central pool surrounded by arched corridors with lotus-shaped water jets and decorative balconies projecting over the water.
The pool measures roughly 15 metres square and would have been filled by an aqueduct. The contrast between the austere exterior and the ornate interior is deliberate — this was a private space for the royal household, hidden from public view. It sits about a kilometre east of the Lotus Mahal, at the southern edge of the royal enclosure.
