Jhansi is the main railhead, with frequent trains from Delhi, Agra, Gwalior, Bhopal, and other cities. From Jhansi, Orchha is about 17 km by road; taxis, autos, and local buses make the connection.
Road travellers usually approach from Jhansi or from the Madhya Pradesh side via Tikamgarh and Niwari. The town is small, but access roads can be busy during temple festivals.
