A pair of plunge waterfalls on the road between Shillong and the Umiam dam. The Beadon Falls drop in a single column, while the Bishop Falls beside them split into a forked cascade — together they were nicknamed after two nineteenth-century Bishops of Calcutta. The viewing platform on the cliff opposite gives a head-on look at both.
There is no easy descent to the pool below; the trails are steep and slippery, particularly after rain. Best in late monsoon (September–October), when the flow is heavy but the trail is no longer flooded.
