A single near-vertical drop of about 100 metres in a quiet patch of forest a few kilometres south of Shillong, near Happy Valley. Less developed than Elephant Falls — there is no entry gate and no crowd — but also without easy access to the base.
The viewing point above is reached by a short walk through pine and is at its most dramatic during the monsoon, when the spume forms its own micro-climate of mist and rainbows. The trail down to the foot of the fall is steep, unmarked, and not recommended.
