Pinjore Gardens, also called Yadavindra Gardens, is a terraced Mughal-style garden north-east of Chandigarh on the road toward Shimla. It is an easy half-day trip if you want a softer break from Chandigarh's modernist grid: lawns, pavilions, water channels, and old garden geometry instead of concrete axes and sector roads.
