Nandalal Temple

Nandalal Temple is one of Bishnupur's laterite temple stops, standing on a raised square platform with a south-facing triple-arched entrance. Its decoration is restrained compared with the town's better-known terracotta temples, but the single-tower form helps round out a walk through Bishnupur's temple landscape.

The temple is usually dated by style rather than inscription, probably to the 17th century. It works best as part of a circuit with Rasmancha, Shyamrai Temple, Jorbangla Temple, and the other nearby monuments.
