Digha is fundamentally a beach resort. The main activity is the beach itself — walking it at sunrise or sunset, sitting under the casuarina trees, and watching the fishing boats at work. Beyond the beach, the Jagannath Temple is the main religious site, while the Marine Aquarium and Research Centre gives a look at Bay of Bengal marine life. Day trips to Shankarpur and Chandaneshwar add variety.
