The standard way from Kolkata is by train: Sealdah to Krishnanagar takes about two hours on an express, or to Nabadwip Dham station (in Bishnupriya, 4 km from the temple area) on the local line. From either station a shared auto or cycle-rickshaw covers the last leg to the temple area for ₹20-50. Total journey from central Kolkata is about three hours.
By road, Nabadwip is 130 km from Kolkata via NH 12, around three hours' drive depending on traffic. Long-distance buses serve Krishnanagar more reliably than Nabadwip itself. Most pilgrims combine the trip with Krishnanagar and treat the two as a single weekend outing.
