The Mangrove Information Centre protects part of the mangrove belt between Sanur, Suwung, and Benoa. Boardwalks and tracks run through the trees, giving visitors a close look at the root systems, mudflats, crabs, birds, and nursery habitat that usually sit out of sight behind Bali's beach image.
It is a good low-key nature stop from Sanur, especially in the morning before the heat builds. The facilities can feel simple, but the ecological point is clear: these mangroves are working landscape, coastal defence, and wildlife habitat all at once.
