Seminyak is not a sightseeing destination so much as a strip of beach, restaurants, and beach clubs. The main activities are sunset-watching from a club lounger, shopping the boutiques along Jalan Kayu Aya and Jalan Petitenget, and getting massages, manicures, or surf lessons.
The two genuine attractions are Petitenget Temple, at the north end of the beach, and the sunsets themselves — Seminyak faces directly west and consistently produces some of the most photographed evening skies on the island.
