Supadio Airport (PNK) is about 17 km south of the city centre. Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, and Citilink operate regular direct flights from Jakarta (around 90 minutes). There are also connections to Kuching in Malaysian Sarawak (a short flight across the border), Kuala Lumpur, and other Indonesian cities including Yogyakarta and Surabaya.
From the airport, taxis and ride-hailing apps (Grab, Gojek) cover the journey to the city centre in 30–45 minutes depending on traffic. There is no airport bus.
The Malaysian border crossing at Entikong is about 4 hours by bus from Pontianak. Buses run from the Batu Layang terminal in the north of the city. From Entikong you can connect to Kuching by bus or shared taxi.
