The Broad Wall

The Broad Wall is an exposed section of ancient fortification in Jerusalem's Jewish Quarter. The wall is often linked with the defensive works of King Hezekiah in the 8th century BCE and was uncovered during rebuilding after 1967.

The remains are easy to view outdoors and make a worthwhile archaeological stop while walking between the Western Wall, the Cardo, and the Tower of David.
