Kura-no-Tsuji is Echizen's old warehouse district in central Takefu. Its white-walled kura recall the Edo-period trade route that carried goods between Kansai and the Hokuriku coast.
It is best treated as a short stroll rather than a single monument: walk the lanes, look for the old storehouses, and pair it with Echizen's craft sites if you have more time.
