Yahata no Sato combines several small family-oriented attractions: a yogurt workshop, a traditional toy museum, and a killifish research centre. The sites are unrelated, but together they make a gentle stop for families travelling around rural Okayama.
It works best with children, especially if someone in the group can read Japanese or help explain the displays.
