Jiko-ji is one of the first temples on Onomichi's Old Temple Loop, notable for its stone gate and hands-on nigiri botoke clay Buddha activity. It is a smaller stop than Senkoji or Jodoji, but it adds texture to the temple walk through the hillside lanes.
