Tenneiji is one of the temples on Onomichi's Old Temple Loop, close enough to the main walk to visit without a detour. Its Rakan Hall is the highlight, with hundreds of statues arranged in a dense, expressive display.
The temple pairs well with the small Maneki-Neko Museum next door and with the climb toward Senkoji Park.
