Senkoji Park is the high balcony over Onomichi. From the observation deck you look across the city roofs, the Onomichi Channel, Mukaishima, shipyards, bridges, and the island-dotted Seto Inland Sea.
The ropeway from town takes only a few minutes and is worth using at least one way. From the top, walk down through Senkoji temple and the Path of Literature rather than returning by the same route.
