Senkō-ji is Onomichi's best-known hill temple, halfway down the Path of Literature and close to Senkoji Park. Its bell tower, Kyō-onrō, is one of the city's landmarks, and the temple is also known for its smiling Niko Niko Jizō figures.
Visit it as part of the Old Temple Loop or while walking down from the park viewpoint toward the lanes above central Onomichi.
