Washibara Hachiman-gu Shrine is a small shrine on the edge of Tsuwano, reached by a pleasant walk through its garden. It is best known locally for its horseback archery contest, held each year in early April.
It makes a quiet add-on to Tsuwano Castle Ruins and the town's better-known shrines.
