Shinkyo Bridge is the red sacred bridge at the entrance to Nikko's shrine and temple area. It is one of the town's classic views, set against the river gorge and forested slopes before the approach to Rinno-ji, Futarasan Shrine, and Toshogu.
You can see it well from the public sidewalk, while access onto the bridge itself is controlled and usually ticketed.
