The Marine Science Center Aquarium is a compact introduction to the Red Sea life just offshore from Aqaba. Tanks show reef fish, corals, and other marine species from the gulf, making it useful before a snorkelling or diving trip south of town.
It will not replace a good day in the water, and serious aquarium fans should keep expectations modest. Its value is practical: families, non-divers, and anyone new to the Red Sea can get a quick look at what makes Aqaba's reefs worth protecting.
