Eating Out

Osh food is a mix of Kyrgyz and Uzbek dishes — plov, manti, lagman, samsa, shashlik — with the Uzbek influence usually winning out. The bazaar and its surroundings are full of cheap, busy places that do one or two things very well. Sit-down restaurants cluster near the central square and along Kurmanjan Datka avenue.
