Music Hall is Beirut's most beloved live-music venue. The format is a parade of short sets — Lebanese rock, Arabic pop, jazz, oud, a cabaret comedy turn, a samba band — drawn from the city's diaspora of musicians. The acts change weekly; the formula does not.
The original venue downtown has moved location more than once but the concept has endured for two decades. Dinner and drinks are served at the table; the show usually starts around 9.30 PM and runs past 1 AM. Book ahead, especially at weekends.
