A tiny shop on Jalan Theatre that has sold one thing — silky-smooth soya beancurd pudding (taufu fa) drowned in sugar syrup — since 1956. The queue starts on the pavement and moves fast; a portion is small enough that most regulars order two.
Cash only, no seating, just a counter. Eat standing on the corner. Open around 11 a.m. and usually sold out by mid-afternoon.
