A vegetarian restaurant on Lakeside owned by Israelis, popular with the steady stream of post-army-service Israeli travellers in Nepal. The menu is mostly Middle Eastern — hummus, shakshuka, falafel, sabich, kebabs of vegetables — with side dishes of Indian and Nepali influence and lots of fresh juices.
Seating is on cushions on the floor in the back room, with a few standard tables out front. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The shakshuka and the lentil soup are particularly good. Live music many evenings in season.
