Jinnah Super is the principal commercial centre of the F-7 sector and one of the oldest markets in Islamabad. The grid of streets contains everything from carpet shops and tailors to bookshops, electronics, cafes, banks and a long row of mid-range restaurants. It is the place to come for handicrafts and gifts at fairer prices than the malls.
Saeed Book Bank, on the south side, is one of the best bookshops in Pakistan — three floors of Urdu and English titles, a strong section on Islamic studies and a deep stock of Pakistani fiction and history.
