Getting There

Boracay has no airport of its own. You fly into one of two airports on Panay — Caticlan (MPH), a fifteen-minute drive from the jetty, or Kalibo (KLO), a two-hour bus or van ride away. Caticlan is the easier hop but the airport is small and prone to weather delays; Kalibo handles bigger jets and most international flights, including direct services from Korea, China and Hong Kong.

From the jetty at Caticlan, a short banca boat ride (about fifteen minutes) drops you at one of three jetty ports on Boracay depending on the season and the wind. There is an environmental fee, a terminal fee, and a boat fare to pay — keep small notes handy. Most resorts will arrange a porter and a tricycle to your room if you have booked ahead.
