Shopping

Boracay isn't a shopping destination, but you can pick up the usual beach-trip souvenirs. D'Mall behind Station 2 is the island's main shopping cluster — open-air, packed with stalls and small shops selling sarongs, swimwear, sunglasses, flip-flops, and cheap T-shirts, plus a small supermarket and a few real shops.

For local crafts, head to the Plazoleta at White Beach, where you'll find handmade leather bags from the T'boli people, beaded jewellery, sarongs, drums and other instruments. D'Talipapa market sells fresh seafood downstairs and trinkets, pearls and clothing upstairs — bargain hard. The stalls along the White Beach pathway are good for inexpensive sarongs and shell jewellery, and you can pick up a henna tattoo while you wait.
