Nine days of celebration at Panaad Park and Stadium, often called the Mother of all Festivals of Negros Occidental. All 19 municipalities and 13 cities of Negros Occidental showcase their trade, tourism, and culture through street dancing, trade fairs, and agricultural exhibits. Each locality brings its own festival-within-a-festival, making the event a sampler of the entire province.
The festival typically falls in April and includes a sports tournament, beauty pageants, and nightly concerts. The park itself is a permanent fairground south of Bacolod proper, modeled loosely on a provincial expo site. If you are in the Visayas in April, it is worth timing a visit around this.
