Olongapo Wet Market

The wet market in the city centre is where Olongapo actually shops — a covered hall surrounded by streets of vendors selling fresh fish (much of it landed that morning at the nearby fishing port), produce from the surrounding farms, and the usual market staples of pork, chicken, and rice.

Morning is the best time; the fish section starts to wind down by mid-afternoon. The nearby canteens around the market do cheap Filipino lunches — adobo, sinigang, lechon kawali — for under 100 pesos.
