One of the waterfront's most reliable restaurants, with open-air seating over the bay and a menu that leans heavily on whatever came off the boats that morning. Grilled tuna, sinigang na hipon (sour shrimp soup), and whole lapu-lapu steamed in ginger are the dishes worth ordering. The Boatyard has been a social hub for expats and visiting sailors since the American era ended, and it still draws a mixed crowd of dive instructors, freeport workers, and Manila weekenders. Service is easygoing; go at sunset for the light on the water.
