A seven-kilometre seafront promenade that curves along Doha Bay from the Museum of Islamic Art in the south to the Sheraton in the north. Dhows bob at anchor in the middle distance; the skyline of West Bay — some of the Gulf's most aggressive 21st-century architecture — rises across the water. Locals stroll it in the cool of the evening.
