Anbandegi Village sits high in the mountains above Gangneung, around 1,100 m above sea level. Its alpine vegetable fields and wind turbines create one of the area's more unusual rural landscapes, especially in clear weather.
It is best treated as a scenic drive or photography stop rather than a conventional village visit. Conditions can be exposed and cool compared with the coast.
