Gyeongpo Wetland is a restored ecological area beside Gyeongpoho Lake. The project lowered the lake's salinity and brought water movement back into the system, creating habitat for aquatic plants, birds, and other wildlife.
For visitors, it is a quiet counterpoint to nearby Gyeongpo Beach and Gyeongpodae. Observation areas and open public space make it an easy nature stop while exploring Gangneung's lake-and-coast side.
