Gyeongpodae is the old pavilion above Gyeongpo Lake, long celebrated as one of the scenic spots of the Gwandong coast. The famous line is that the moon appears in several places at once: sky, lake, sea, cup, and the eyes of the person watching.
Even without the poetry, it is a pleasant stop between the lake and the beach. Spring cherry blossoms around the lake make the area especially good.
