Aynali Church is one of the rock-cut churches around Goreme, part of the wider Cappadocian landscape of caves, chapels, and monastic spaces carved into soft volcanic tuff. It is usually quieter than the headline churches of the open-air museum.
The attraction is the combination of rough stone architecture and surviving religious traces, not polished presentation. Visit it if you want to see how widespread Cappadocia's cave-church culture was beyond the busiest ticketed sights.
