Istanbul is served by two airports: Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side, which handles most international flights, and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) on the Asian side. IST is a vast new hub; the Havaist bus to Taksim takes around 45 minutes in good traffic. The metro line to the city is the most reliable option. SAW is further out but well-connected by bus to Kadıköy on the Asian side.
