Side has a lively bar scene around the harbour and main street, aimed squarely at European package tourists. Irish-style pubs, cocktail bars, and open-air cafes all compete for attention. The harbour cafes are good for coffee and watching the sunset over the Temple of Apollo columns. If you want a quieter drink, the small cafes in the back streets of the old town are calmer and cheaper.
