Eating Out

Side's restaurants cluster around the harbour and the old town lanes. Fish and seafood dominate menus; local catches are grilled fresh and served with salad and bread. Turkish staples — grilled meats, mezes, fresh flatbread — are reliably good and inexpensive in the smaller restaurants away from the main harbour front.

The tourist-facing harbour restaurants are more expensive and less consistent. Head a few streets inland for better value.
