Side has numerous souvenir shops selling Turkish ceramics, carpets, leather goods, and jewellery in the old town lanes. Bargaining is expected in the market stalls. Manavgat, 4km east, has a more traditional weekly market on Tuesdays. For antiques, be aware that it is illegal to export genuine antiquities from Turkey.
