Wild Wadi is a 12-acre waterpark on Jumeirah Beach Road, immediately adjacent to the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The park is themed around an Arabian wadi (desert oasis) and the 30-plus rides and slides are mostly interconnected — once you enter, you ride continuously without exiting and re-queuing for each attraction separately.
The signature ride is the Jumeirah Sceirah, a free-fall slide that reaches 80km/h and is one of the fastest slides outside North America. The lazy river and wave pool suit younger children; the more intense rides are for older kids and adults. Tickets are sold in half-day and full-day formats. The park is smaller than Aquaventure on the Palm and less crowded, which many visitors prefer.
