The Bitexco Financial Tower is the most architecturally distinctive building in Ho Chi Minh City — a 262-metre skyscraper in District 1 designed by Carlos Zapata Studio, notable for its lotus-blossom-inspired form and the circular helipad jutting out from the 52nd floor. Completed in 2010, it became the instant symbol of Saigon's economic transformation.
The Saigon Sky Deck observation floor at level 49 offers 360-degree views over the city — the river curving to the south, the dense urban fabric of District 1 directly below, and the skyline of Binh Thanh and Thu Duc to the east. The views are especially striking at dusk. Tickets are available at the base of the tower; the observation deck can be crowded on weekends.
