Ho Chi Minh City has one of the most varied and historically rich sets of sights in Southeast Asia. The French colonial quarter in District 1 concentrates the most famous buildings, but the real depth is in the museums (particularly the War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace), the temples of Cholon, and the living street life that happens on every block.
