Southern Women's Museum

The Southern Women's Museum is an overlooked District 3 museum about women's roles in southern Vietnam's society, economy, and revolutionary history. Exhibits include photographs, documents, textiles, ao dai, tools, paintings, and wartime material.

It is a quieter counterpoint to Ho Chi Minh City's bigger war and colonial sights. The strongest sections are those that connect everyday work, dress, and family life with the political history that shaped modern Vietnam.
