A less developed stretch of west coast beach north of Duong Dong, roughly 7 km from town. Ong Lang is calmer and quieter than Long Beach, with rocky outcrops breaking up the sand and a handful of small resorts and guesthouses rather than the big developments to the south. The water is calm, the beach is rarely crowded, and the sunset views are equally good.
A popular choice for visitors who want a more relaxed base than the main Long Beach strip. Several good mid-range and budget accommodation options are found here. The snorkelling off the rocky points at either end of the beach is reasonable in the dry season.
