Phu Quoc's main draws are its beaches, its national park, and its fish sauce factories. The west coast beaches are the most developed and easiest to reach; Sao Beach in the south requires more effort but rewards it. The national park occupies the northern third of the island and is best explored with a guide. Snorkelling and diving around the smaller islands off the southern tip (the An Thoi archipelago) are the best underwater options.
