The "Cape that Welcomes the Wind" is a rocky headland at the southernmost tip of the peninsula, between Back Beach and the Christ statue. A statue of Avalokiteśvara stands above two small coves on either side of the cape, where the waves break heavily against the rocks.

The little beach to the east, sheltered between cliffs, is one of the prettiest spots in town for swimming in calm weather, though it is small and gets crowded on weekends. The headland itself is a 20-minute stop with good photos in any direction.
